Designer's notes
Excavation Overload throws players into a sprawling desert battlefield where remnants of civilization sit between vast stretches of barren terrain. Roads wind through abandoned-looking city districts, while cliffs and excavated sections break the map into distinct combat zones.
The central excavation area forms the heart of the battlefield, surrounded by industrial structures, ruined-looking developments, and several pockets of valuable resources. Players aren’t simply fighting across an empty desert—the map is filled with terrain features that make each section feel different.
